The Icelandic Horse Painting is finished and I want to Thank Andrea Barber of Sandmeadow Icelandics, for her use of the photograph I based this painting off, of her two, very special Icelandic Horses.
I went back and reworked this painting just a little bit. So I offer both styles for sale.
*Shari's work explores the relationship between Trompe l'oeil and surreal Abstracts. With influences as diverse as Leonardo da Vinci and Buckminster Fuller, new variations are generated from both explicit and implicit dialogues. Ever since she was a child, Shari has been fascinated by the theoretical limits of all Art. What starts out as vision soon becomes contemporaneously into a hegemony of wild abandonment, leaving only a sense of peace or chaos with the stroke of a pen and with the likelihood of a new reality.
