My DH worked on Aircraft Carrier's, older model F-14 Tomcats, so I painted this picture for him. I used one of my photographs as a referance. Painting is done in Watercolor and Ink, using 140lb Hot press paper.
*Shari's work explores the relationship between Trompe l'oeil and surreal Abstracts. With influences as diverse as Leonardo da Vinci and Buckminster Fuller, new variations are generated from both explicit and implicit dialogues. The photo I used, was taken at the Evergreen Museum in Oregon a few years ago. I love and take..what I call, In your Face, photos.... like painting something a little different. ;O)
